RACER Mission/Goals

To build trust and credibility between the operators of Los Alamos National Laboratory, regulators, and community members by opening lines of communication and increasing the transparency and accessibility of information about the chemicals and radioactive materials found in the environment in and around Los Alamos
To increase public participation in and knowledge of the RACER Project across all sectors of the community, in particular, sectors that are often not heard or overlooked with regard to operations at LANL
Provide environmental data in a consistent and understandable format
Incorporate data from other data providers into RACER
Establish a permanent Technical Steward at a local academic institution
Translate the main pages of the RACER website to Spanish and local/native languages
