Guidelines for Interaction
Participating stakeholders agree to:
- Show respect for the opinions, viewpoints, and ideas of others;
- Seek information and understanding about the scope of the project and focus comments, discussions, suggestions and questions to that scope;
- Provide feedback and direction on all aspects of the project;
- Attend progress meetings, participate in RACER workshops and events, review and submit comments on technical reports, to the extent possible.
The NMCF is committed to:
- Respecting the opinions, viewpoints and ideas of others;
- Providing current written materials that inform stakeholders about the project; for example: definition of terms, background information on the project, news, etc.;
- Communicating the findings and progress of the project through various methods, such as email and postings on the project website, local newspapers, monthly newsletters, fact sheets and periodic informational meetings;
- Interacting with stakeholders to answer questions, clarify information, consider new ideas, incorporate suggestions, and help locate additional information as requested.
